'Automatically opens and covers food bowl'

The Autopetbowl is a one-of-a-kind product that will open a cover to allow your pet to access either food or water and will then close after they are done. The pet bowl cover is activated by an infrared proximity sensor that will detect when your pet is near and then open. When your pet is finished and away from the bowl the battery operated electric motor will close the cover. This helps keep out flies and bugs as well as other debris from your pet's food and water.

The infrared sensor will open the lid when the pet is within 12" of the bowl. The cover closes automatically within 5 to 10 seconds after your pet is out of the sensor range. The batteries (4 AA) are expected to last approximately 3 months, depending on frequency of use. These automatically closing food bowls are not only a must for optimum pet health but are very effective for use outdoors with a wide variety of animals.

Note: The infrared sensors are adjustable to detect pet's presence and the bowl is easily removed for cleaning. There are no collars or tags needed for operation with this unit.
