Cat Doors or Cat Flaps  come in a wide variety of designs for the cats, from traditional cat flaps, to electronic, magnetic and infra-red controlled access pet doors. Most standard cat flaps are designed for cats 12lbs and under, there are larger cat doors made such as the Hefty Cat, MaxSeal - Small/Medium, and others. Make sure to test the flap size to find out if the opening will be large enough for your cat.

Traditional Cat Flaps (Manual Locking Flap) These catflaps generally have a manual switch mechanism lock. Most have a feature called 4-Way Locking. This enables you to set the door so that when the cat comes in, it cannot go back outside. The flaps themselves are solid with a magnetic strip along the bottom to hold the door in place.
