Dogtek Electronic Dog Fence System
Model EF-4000
The Dogtek Electronic Dog Fence System EF-4000 is a containment system that can be used with dogs of any size. A discrete perimeter wire is buried underground or raised on an existing fence. Connected to a small transmitter unit, the perimeter wire serves as a barrier that your dog cannot cross without receiving a static correction. A beep will sound as your dog approaches the fence and enters the warning zone. If he continues an electronic shock will be administered to deter him from going any further.
The EF-4000 is loaded with features to keep your dog safely contained. Both
the warning zone and the correction zone are adjustable, allowing you to set
how close your dog is able to come to the boundary wire. Eight levels of static
correction are available for use with dogs of all temperaments. The collar is
completely waterproof and uses a replaceable 3v lithium CR2 battery. In the
event of a wire break, the transmitter will beep to alert you of the interrupted
signal path. The wire can be buried with a plastic conduit or tubing without
interfering with the activation range. An automatic safety shutoff will stop
any static corrections after 20 seconds in the event that your dog is caught
in the correction zone.
