The Dogtra YS-500 Bark Collar is designed for your Medium to Large sized dog. It uses mid-high range power and has a variable intensity dial to accommodate your pets. With seven different intensity setting, the YS-500 can be used on timid as well as stubborn pets to control barking.

Note: Length of charge depends on the dog but generally lasts 40-60 hours of use time.

First off, very fast delivery from Moore! ...and they have a guarantee!! I will buy again from here again in a heartbeat!!!

I first tried the spray collar because I didn't want to shock my dog and I still wanted my dog to bark at an intruder or situation that called for it. The spray collar did nothing for a stubborn bulldog except make my house smell like citronella so I bought this collar. This works and wish I bought it to began with! It took a couple of ups on the sensitivity to find his breaking point but at 4, my 105lbs. A.B. now stops barking at neighbors, passing dog walkers, ect. and isn't a nuisance on the block anymore. When the collar isn't on him, he knows and will alert to bumps in the night. Also, rechargable battery saves cost and last. The collar is long and will fit probably any breed, can be cut. I wanted to write this review because the previous one helped me out a lot and answered questions I had and wanted to do the same for others.

Keeps him quiet	August 21, 2007

We have a German shepherd who just wouldn't quit barking. Every time a car or a kid on a bike, or someone walking went by our yard, he would bark uncontrollably. It got to the point that the neighbors even called the police about the noise. While we didn't like the idea of shocking our dog, it was better than the thought of having to get rid of him or move. Needless to say this bark collar really did the trick. It only took a couple of times before he realized what was going on, and he no longer barks.
