The Electronic Pet Door for Sash Windows can be used for any sized cat and small breed dogs. This unit is rated as one of the best electronic pet doors for windows on the market. It features a generous pet opening for small to larger sized cats all the way to 20 lbs. Small breed dogs have not problem using this unit, which gives them more room than other small or small medium sized window inserts. Opening should fit an average sized Jack Russel or smaller breed type. The Electronic Pet Door for Sash Windows has spring-loaded adjusting ends that give you approx. 5" of range for fitting. Weather stripping is provided so that you can make your unit fit tightly in your window opening.
The door is triggered by a magnet collar tag (Door requires a 9-volt battery, but tags do not use any batteries). Any pet can leave the house but the electro-magnetic controlled lock keeps out unwanted animals. The exterior side of the pet door has a unique design that helps deter raccoons an other nuisance animals from lifting up the flap to gain entry into the house. This electronic pet door has a long history of satisfied customers.
Note: These units can be installed very quickly with no tools and taken out just as conveniently.
