The Ideal 900 Series Energy Saver Pet Patio Door is an aluminum framed dual pane glass / dual flap pet opening patio insert. It is appropriate for cats and dogs. The rise elevates the pet opening by 8 1/4 inches. Make sure the pet opening and the height of the pet opening is appropriate for your pet(s). The top of the unit has a spring-loaded adjuster that compresses and expands 5". Make sure the adjustment of any patio pet door allows you to get the unit into the track channel and expand sufficiently for a tight fit.

This patio Insert features dual pane glass and dual flap pet opening for optimal protection from both COLD and HEAT. This unit is installed using the enclosed hardware. It is not designed to used in temporary situations. The installation is similar to the Ideal VIP Vinyl Insulated Patio Door. These units may be installed on either left or right side sliding doors. Note: Toy breeds may have some problems pushing through the dual flap. This is largely dependent on your pets temperament.
