The Hound Heater II is a smaller version of the Hound Heater I, and is capable of heating an average sized outdoor cat/dog house. This portable heater was redesigned in 2007 and is now lighter and easier to install. It has the same style and functionality as the Hound Heater I only designed to heat a smaller area. These units work best in insulated outdoor pet houses in temperatures 40 degrees and below. Its sleak powder coated black exterior ads fashion and function (black is the top conductor of heat).
Unlike other pet house heaters, this is a wall mounted unit providing more laying/playing space. If your pet accidentally bumps into the heater, they will be in no danger of getting burned. Moore Pet Supplies has had extensive, hands on experience with both the Hound Heater I and II. We have found that this is the easiest, and most economical option for keeping your pets comfortable in cold temperatures.

Intended to be installed into corner of walls, not ceilings

Step 1
Measure down 7" and over 7" from a top corner of the dog house |

Step 2
Drill a 7/8" to 1" dia. hole at the previous located mark. |

Step 3
Run Hound Heater cord through your hole |
 |

Step 4
Mount 4 screws in the base of the Hound Heater |
 |

Step 5
Put in your Heating Element (bulb, ceramic emitter, etc.) |
