The Ideal Insulator pet door by Ideal Pet Products is an aluminum framed dual flap door that is designed for energy savings. A magnetic is positioned on either side of each flap as well as along the bottom. This model is considered to be comparable to the popular plastic framed Ideal Ruff Weather pet door. The Insulator model features an aluminum frame with plastic corner frame connectors.
The frame itself is constructed with aluminum and corner plastic pieces. A plastic security panel can be dropped into place in order to block off access.
