Innotek Basic In Ground Fence SD-2000

The Innotek Basic In Ground Fence SD-2000 is a simple base unit for an in ground fence solution. You have 500 feet of boundary wire and two waterproof wire splicers; (Covers up to 1/3 acre) and can add additional wire to cover an area up to 5 acres. The digital signal receiver collar is water resistant will work with any dog of average over 12 lbs. The collar uses a 6-volt battery - included. You can add additional collars for as many dogs as you want on the system. Unit includes 50 perimeter flags to mark the boundary during the training phase.

The Basic In Ground Fence will work very nicely for the customer who is looking for a simple containment system without any bells and whistles. It will cover up to 5 acres which for most residential customers is more than enough. The 20 gauge wire is recommended for all common soils types, you would want 18 gauge in gravel and rocky conditions. The receiver collar SD-2025 is water resistant, giving you all the protection needed from morning dew to occasional water dish splashes. We do recommend adding the lightning Protection accessory if you live in an area that is more prone to lightning strikes.
Note: You can also use the UltraSmart Collar for adding additional dogs on the system - see accessories below.

I didnt want to purchase a system that would be confusing as I am getting older and just wanted something easy! I no longer have to chase little Harold around the neighborhood when he decides to run.
