PetSafe Ultimate Pet Door

(Formerly known as Johnson Ultimate Door)

The Petsafe Ultimate Pet door is a heavy, durable, pet door. It boasts an inner flap and outer ring "dual flap" design that is intended to provide a much better seal than standard single flap doors. Although not nearly as insulating and weather proof as a traditional dual flap door, it does offer some more protection from the elements. This pet door is easy to install and the frame has a lifetime manufacturer's warranty.

This door was first made by the Johnson Pet Door Company. PetSafe bought Johnson several years ago but maintained this door and design (unchanged). PetSafe Ultimate Pet Door
The most noticeable characteristic of the Ultimate door is the unique flap. There is an "inner" flap with an "outer" ring. Some call this a dual flap, however, it is considered a single flap, non-insulating pet door. Fits doors that range in thickness 1 1/4" to 1 3/4" This model has been discontinued by the manufacturer, Moore Pet has only SMALL models in stock.
