Pride Pet Doors

This Pride Pet Door is constructed of heavy duty aluminum and includes a white top loading security panel that is constructed of particle board. The security panel is coated with a bright white paint and locks into place with a locking lever attached to the interior frame. The flap is constructed from a durable black rubber material and is a 2 piece design. The inner flap seals against the outer U shaped flap with magnets, and the outer U shape flap seals against the pet door frame with magnets creating a good weather seal. This Pride pet door can be installed into screen doors with the Pride Screen Door Adapter frame. Due to the method of installing each frame individually the thickness is unlimited to what this door can be mounted.

***Installation Note: Before installing this door be sure to finish the opening to prevent weather damage. For solid doors smooth the opening surface and apply a waterproof sealant. For hollow core doors use wood shims to fill the gap from the inside and outside door skins then apply a waterproof sealant around the rough cut opening. Install the frame with rubber assembly on the exterior side of the door and secure loosely with wood screws. Insert the thin interior frame in the same manner. Before tightening screws ensure the pet door is square on both sides. When the pet door is square tighten the screws.
