• Installation Instructions
• Step 1) Measure the height from the floor to your dog’s belly. Mark the height on your door with an X.
• Step 2) From the house interior, place the bottom line corresponding with your pet door size even with the X and secure it in place. Drill a hole at each corner of the outline of your door.
• Step 3) Remove the template and cut between all holes with a jigsaw. You may wish to use masking tape on the runners of the jigsaw to prevent marring of your door’s finish.
• Step 4) Place the inner frame of the pet door into the cutout and mark the screw holes.
• Step 5) Drill through your door at the places marked with a 5/16th inch drill bit.
• Step 6) Insert the sleeves into the four keyhole slots in the exterior frame of the pet door.
• Step 7) Go to the exterior of the door. Hold the lower screw sleeves in place while positioning the frame to be inserted.
• Step 8) Insert the lower sleeves into their holes. Tilt the upper half of the pet door into position and insert the upper sleeves into their holes.
• Step 9) Slide the interior frame into place.
• Step 10) Measure the thickness of your door and cut the screws to a suitable length. Using screws that are too long may result in damage to the front frame.
• Step 11) Insert and tighten all screws into place. Do not over tighten.
