Recognizing sporting dog owners’ desire for an electronic remote training system that’s as versatile as their dogs, SportDOG Brand has introduced an e-collar that excels in all hunting environments.
The SportHunter 1800 is an ideal system for the upland bird hunter, but it’s perfectly suited for hunting in wet conditions as well. Because both the transmitter and receiver are rugged and 100 percent waterproof, the SportHunter gives you complete confidence that it will function flawlessly, every time you need it to.
Like all models in SportDOG Brand’s growing, innovative product line, the SportHunter offers a long list of features and benefits that reflect the company’s dedication to living up to its philosophy of providing hunters with “The Gear You’d Design.”
The transmitter and collar receiver each operate on a long-life, rechargeable Nickel-Metal Hydride battery for trouble-free use. Together they provide up to ¾-mile range – enough even for hunting with big-running pointing dogs. But this model isn’t limited to upland hunting. It’s engineered to provide the necessary contact to correct swimming dogs at long distances as well. Both components also feature a low-battery warning light so a hunter never has to cut short a day of hunting because of a dead system.
The versatile, compact transmitter provides plenty of training options, with up to 16 levels of continuous or momentary stimulation, a tone-only button and tone with one-second delay option. The transmitter also allows the user to select one of eight different training modes, including a three-dog mode that dramatically simplifies controlling multiple dogs in the field. For two- or three-dog operation, simply purchase SportDOG Add-A-Dog™ collars as needed. The user-friendly collars are easily matched to the transmitter for instant operation.
