The Staywell 400 Series Magnetic/Manual locking cat door is designed to be mounted in doors or walls when used with the    accessory tunnel extensions. The door controls access by a magnetic locking mechanism. The magnetic collar tag is approx. the size of a pea and worn on the pets existing collar. It controls access of other cats or feral cats from coming into the home. It does not, however, prevent pets from "inside" pets from using the door to go outside. (The Staywell 400 comes with  a removable 2" tunnel extension, this way the Cat Flap can be used for very thin applications as well).  The 4-way locking feature allows you to control the access of your cat by manually setting the locking mechanism in 4 different modes. The flap is rigid Zylar (Stronger than plastic) with a magnetic strip along the bottom to hold flap in closed position. The Staywell 400 Series has a 3-year manufacturer warranty.
