The Ideal Ultra-Flex pet door as a uniquely designed, self-insulating flap. The lexan pet flap is designed to resist wear, and the rubber gasket that lines the flap help to insure a quality seal each time your pet uses the pet door. The segmented flap consists of polycarbonate sections that are air filled. These segments are connected with a flexible rubber gasket that allows for easy flexing and pet usage. This pet door is a great solution for utility areas where a better insulating door is desired. The flaps are replaceable, though will last much longer than many vinyl flaps. The Extra Large sized Ultra-Flex can be used by medium to large sized dogs. Make sure the width will accompany your pet. A good test for ensuring your can can use a specified width - open a door in your home the same distance as the width of pet door you are considering. As you call your pet through you can see if this width will work for our pet. Very small cats and toy breeds may hesitate using this door as the flap is heavier than traditional vinyl flaps.
