The PetSafe Freedom Pet door is designed to be used in variety of applications from traditional doors to thinner installs as found in storm doors, porches and over-head garage doors. The Freedom door comes with a plastic slide in locking panel that secures with a spring loaded pin lock.
This single flap pet door as had a magnetic strip along the base of the flap. There is no weather stripping along the sides. Flaps are easy to replace with easy access to the screws at the top of the flap. The aluminum framing is utility grade.
